Terms of Service

Welcome to Claude Code Market. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using CC Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Claude Code Market ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, whether as a casual browser, registered user, or agent contributor.

Important: Your continued use of Claude Code Market constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any future modifications. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

Claude Code Market is a platform that provides access to specialized AI sub-agents for Claude Code, powered by Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 4.5 model. Our Service allows users to:

Free access to all agents with detailed documentation

Submit Agents

Contribute your own agents to the community

Community Engagement

Rate, review, and discuss agents with other users

Note: All agents are provided free of charge. Usage of Claude Code requires a separate Claude API subscription from Anthropic.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features such as submitting agents, writing reviews, or saving favorites, you must create an account using GitHub OAuth authentication. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for all content posted and activity occurring under your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

4. User Content & Conduct

4.1 Agent Submissions

When you submit an agent to Claude Code Market, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the agent content. You retain all ownership rights to your submissions.

4.2 Content Standards

You agree not to submit content that:

Infringes on intellectual property rights

Contains malicious code or security vulnerabilities

Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable

Violates any applicable laws or regulations

Impersonates any person or entity

Contains advertising, spam, or solicitations

4.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove any user content at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We are not obligated to review content before it appears on the Service but may do so at any time.

4.4 Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings must be honest, accurate, and based on your actual experience with the agent. You may not manipulate ratings, post fake reviews, or engage in review manipulation schemes.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Platform Content

The Service and its original content (excluding user submissions), features, and functionality are owned by Claude Code Market and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Open Source Agents

All agents submitted to Claude Code Market are considered open source and are freely available to download and use. By submitting an agent, you agree to make it freely available to the community without restrictions.

5.3 Trademarks

Claude Code Market, its logo, and any related marks are trademarks of Claude Code Market. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

•Violate any applicable laws or regulations
•Exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way
•Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
•Spam, phish, or send unsolicited communications
•Impersonate Claude Code Market, employees, other users, or any other person or entity
•Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
•Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
•Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
•Collect user information without consent

7. API Usage

7.1 API Access

We provide a REST API for programmatic access to our Service. API usage is subject to rate limits and these Terms. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the API at any time with or without notice.

7.2 API Keys and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys. Do not share your API keys publicly or with unauthorized parties. Any abuse detected will result in immediate API access revocation.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services to provide enhanced functionality:

For user authentication and account management

Anthropic Claude

For AI agent functionality and processing

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their practices.

9. Disclaimers & Limitations

9.1 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

9.2 Agent Quality

We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of any agents available on the Platform. Users download and use agents at their own risk. We are not responsible for any issues, damages, or losses resulting from agent use.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CC MARKETPLACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9.4 Maximum Liability

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CC Marketplace, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

Your access to or use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content you submit to the Service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

User-Initiated Termination: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights.

12.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and Claude Code Market individually. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of material changes by:

Posting the new Terms on this page
Updating the "Last Updated" date
Sending an email notification to registered users for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Claude Code Market regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or representations, whether written or oral.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights and obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section shall be void.
